Start Your Electrical Career With WB Electrical
WB normally develops one apprentice at a time, giving that person a practical route to learn the trade within an experienced electrical team.
- Real site experience alongside qualified electricians
- A long-term aim of progressing apprentices into qualified roles
- Local applicants encouraged, with suitable interest welcome from all areas
WB Electrical Services Ltd is based in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire.

Not a live vacancy today
Registering interest is not an application or promise of a future role. A formal advert will set the criteria when the next apprenticeship opens.

A commitment the owners value
Develop One Person Properly, Then Create the Next Chance
WB has an apprentice in the team and aims to keep that pathway going. When the apprentice completes training and moves into a qualified electrician role, the company looks to bring in the next person.
It is not treated as a large annual intake or a marketing exercise. It is a practical commitment to pass on experience, strengthen the trade and give someone the chance to build a proper career.
WB tries to support a local applicant where the fit is right, while remaining open to applicants from other areas. Reliability, attitude and the ability to meet the role’s travel demands matter more than a postcode alone.
What the route involves
Learn the Trade in Real Working Environments
The exact qualification, training provider, pay, hours, entry criteria and start date will be stated in the live vacancy. This page focuses only on the working approach WB expects.
Listen, Ask and Learn
A strong apprentice pays attention, asks sensible questions and builds understanding before trying to work faster.
Work as Part of the Team
Site learning depends on reliability, respect for colleagues and customers, and taking responsibility for the tasks you are trusted to complete.
Build Safe Habits Early
Good electricians learn safe isolation, tidy working, testing, documentation and the confidence to say when they do not understand something.
Useful Independent Information
Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland combine employment, on-the-job experience and recognised learning. Electrical apprenticeship applicants can also review the industry pathway and pre-employment assessment information directly.
These are independent information links. They do not indicate that a WB vacancy is currently open or confirm the provider for a future intake.
Interest is not an application
How the Future Apprenticeship Route Works
The page lets us hear from interested people, like you, without suggesting that recruitment has opened before it has.
01
Register Future Interest
Send a short introduction about your stage, location, practical experience and why the electrical trade interests you.
02
Wait for a Live Advert
When the next place opens, WB will publish the current entry criteria, training route, terms, dates and formal application method.
03
Apply to the Live Vacancy
A prior expression of interest does not reserve a place. Everyone will need to apply against the requirements of the live opportunity.

Register Interest in a Future Apprenticeship
A short, honest introduction is enough. WB is interested in attitude, practical reliability and why you want to learn the trade.
