Terms of Service

  1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at https://www.wbelectrical.co.uk, referred to in these terms as the “website”.

By using the website, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the website.

These terms relate only to use of the website. They do not govern the supply of electrical installations, maintenance, inspection, testing, consultancy or any other services provided by WB Electrical Services Limited. Any services we agree to provide will be subject to the applicable quotation, order, contract and any separate terms agreed between us and the customer.

  1. Purpose of the website

The website provides general information about WB Electrical, our capabilities, services, sectors, projects, accreditations and areas of operation.

Website content is provided for general information only. It is not intended to constitute electrical, engineering, health and safety, legal, financial or other professional advice on which you should rely.

Electrical systems, buildings, equipment and operating environments vary considerably. Information on the website cannot replace a site survey, condition assessment, electrical design, risk assessment or other project-specific investigation.

Electrical work should be assessed and carried out by suitably qualified and competent persons. Information relating to hazardous areas, ATEX, DSEAR, electrical safety, EV charging, grants or technical standards must not be treated as a project-specific assessment, design, instruction or confirmation of compliance.

  1. Accuracy of website information

We take reasonable care when preparing and maintaining the website. However, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, accurate or current.

Technical standards, legislation, industry guidance, product specifications, grant schemes, eligibility rules and regulatory requirements can change. You should obtain current, project-specific advice before making a technical, safety, compliance or purchasing decision.

Photographs, case studies and project descriptions illustrate examples of our previous work. They do not guarantee that the same solution, specification, timescale, price or result will be suitable or available for another project.

We may update, amend or remove website content without notice.

  1. Enquiries, quotations and contracts

Submitting a contact form, requesting a quotation, sending an email or speaking with us by telephone does not create a contract between you and WB Electrical.

Information submitted through the website will normally be treated as an enquiry. Any automated confirmation or acknowledgement only confirms that the enquiry has been received. It does not constitute acceptance of work, confirmation of availability or agreement of a price or timescale.

A contract for services will only arise when the scope, price and applicable terms have been agreed or confirmed in writing, or as otherwise stated in the relevant quotation, order or contract.

Where separate contractual terms apply to services provided by WB Electrical, those terms will take precedence over these website terms in relation to those services.

Please do not use a website form or email to report an immediate danger or emergency. We cannot guarantee that forms or emails will be monitored continuously or acted upon immediately. Where there is an immediate risk to life, property or public safety, contact the appropriate emergency service or electricity network operator.

  1. Availability of the website

We aim to keep the website available and operating correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change any part of the website for operational, maintenance, security or business reasons.

We will not be responsible for losses arising solely because the website, a form or a particular feature is temporarily unavailable, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
