What Electrical Equipment Servicing Can Include

The agreed scope should identify assets, activities, exclusions, operating conditions and required records. Work is then completed within the equipment information, site rules and safe isolation arrangements available.

The agreed boundary matters. This service does not automatically include internal maintenance of production machinery, PLC or software work, mechanical plant servicing, lifts, fire alarms, specialist HVAC or UPS internals, or utility-owned equipment. Formal inspection and testing, including EICR, remains a separate activity even when coordinated with the visit.

The agreed output can identify the assets or areas attended, activity completed, condition observed, minor work carried out, access or test limitations, defects, priorities and recommended next actions. Any certification relates only to work or testing included in the agreed scope.

Suitable electrical remedials can be quoted and completed by agreement. The next step may require parts, a planned shutdown, further testing or input from a manufacturer or controls specialist. If a defect becomes an immediate operational fault, use the reactive electrical callouts route.
